Anthurium in Kerala

This Anthurium is a foreigner to Kerala but enhanced its beauty in the Kerala soil. Took this snap from my Grandma's garden. One of the proud displays....

Jack Fruit

The Jack Of All Fruits. Thats one way to say it. A tasty fruit when ripe and the desserts made from this is mouth watering. Chakka, thats what we call it in kerala, a nickname to some..

The Cow

Graceful as she lies down. Feeling a bit lonely.....or a serious look .... whatever you feel....I am not captioning this one. Anyhow she caught my camera's attention.

Coconut tree swaying in the wind

The wind in romance with the coconut trees. Just as the monsoon hits kerala. Took this while on a trip with my friends. Just stopped by to enjoy the cold winds.

Tender Coconuts

The potential refreshment for every tourist while in Kerala. Also used in most Ayurvedic medicines. On a hot summer day nothing can beat the satisfaction of having a tender coconut juice (karikku as it is called in kerala)

Pretty blue flowers

Took this snap after a small rain. A flower very found in almost every household in kerala. The gardens found in kerala have a variety of flowers from normal ones to orchids.
